Joshua Wong, activist and former secretary-general of the now disbanded pro-democracy group Demosisto, was sentenced to 13.5 months and four months in prison on two separate charges over unauthorised assemblies, and an additional 10 months for participating in a banned Tiananmen Massacre vigil. He is currently charged under conspiracy to commit subversion under the National Security Law.
